It is with heavy hearts that we confirm the passing of Justin Lim ’19, an alumnus whose sudden and tragic death has left the community in deep sorrow. Justin was reported missing two weeks ago, and despite the tireless efforts of family, friends, and local authorities, his body was discovered shortly thereafter. Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to everyone who kept him in their prayers and shared our search posts during this difficult time.

Justin was a beloved member of the St. Agnes Academy (SAA) community, remembered fondly as a sweet, well-liked individual who always had a smile on his face. His passion for video games, combined with his easygoing and kind nature, made him a friend to many. Whether in the classroom or socializing with peers, Justin’s presence brought joy to those around him.

After graduating from SAA, Justin went on to attend Archbishop Molloy High School, where he continued to distinguish himself as a thoughtful and intelligent young man. He then pursued higher education at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where he was enrolled at the time of his passing. His bright future was full of promise, and his untimely death has left an indelible mark on all who knew him.

Our deepest sympathies go out to Justin’s family, who have shown incredible strength throughout this heartbreaking ordeal. As we mourn his loss, we also offer our prayers for his soul’s peaceful repose and for his family’s comfort during this unimaginably difficult time.

A funeral service to honor Justin’s life will take place on Tuesday, November 11th, at 6:00 p.m. at Central Funeral Home, located at 162-14 Sanford Ave, Flushing, NY. We invite all those whose lives were touched by Justin to join in remembering his spirit and legacy.
